Artist Remarks: There is a construction technique called double-skin, aimed at thermal insulation, which seeks to strongly separate something across a space. This simple yet luxurious concept has an appeal that exists even before considering its effect.
The extremely thick walls, floor, and ceiling are made by assembling 2mm thick styrene boards, so the interior is hollow, making it surprisingly light despite its heavy appearance. Just the thickness of the walls, floor, and ceiling brings a sense of luxury, tranquillity, and possibly even a sense of unease, which makes it interesting.
